NOC 2006. Salsa

I finally got my hands on a copy of the DVD of this year’s NOC 2006 performance at the Wilshire-Ebell. The show was put on this past spring. Although there were so many technical difficulties, I have to commend the cast and crew for still putting on an amazing display of Latin American culture that night. I originally tried out for the sole purpose of being a part of a salsa troupe, but I will admit the experience was an enriching one. I learned so much more about Latin American culture and heritage. I met a lot of interesting and talented individuals, even made a few good friends. And of course, had my very first pupusa!

This is the salsa piece from the off-campus performance of UCLA’s NOC2006 “Living for Manana Land”. The performance was at the Wilshire-Ebell theatre. The salsa number served as the grand finale for the show. I posted the tango routine from the on-campus performance here.
