So I am off today to go home (to Jamaica) for a portion of the summer. If all goes according to plan I should be back by the last week in July. Last night a few friends deciding to throw a little “bon voyage” celebration at Silhouette’s. It was very touching to see people go out of their way to wish me a safe trip, as there were some faces there who would not normally be at Silhouette on a Thursday night. I have to give special thanks to Raul, William (both), Anna and all others who took the time out to plan it. And I most definitely have to give special thanks to “mi familia” from Rueda in the Park who turned out.
While my first two years in Los Angeles did not go as expected, I know I still have a lot to be grateful for. One of those things is the great relationships I have developed while here. I rarely take the time out to express this, but I love you all. I will miss you guys while I am home (but only after the initial excitement of being back home wanes
